March 2013 will be a very exciting month for John and SHIRLEY.
The fun kicks off March 18th, at Dazzle Jazz, Denver's foremost venue for jazz and creative music. Dazzle never fails to provide a stellar combination of fine food, drink, and atmosphere, and this night the atmosphere will be matched by an incredible 2 sets of music by John's electro-progressive group, SHIRLEY.
They'll be performing songs from their last album, "from a bright clearing," along with some intruiging new compositions...which brings us to more news from this group: a new recording!
SHIRLEY will be headed into the studios of Colin Bricker at Mighty Fine Productions in Denver to lay down a couple day's worth of new songs and new sounds. Details are unclear at this point how and when this material will be released, but stay tuned to this site for news as it develops!
