Announcing "Seven Angels"
On June 26, 2020, John's debut album "Seven Angels" will be released through New York based recording label Outside In Music. This ambitious, 11-track release features an eclectic mix of modern original jazz and reimagined classics.
Grammy-nominated trombonist, composer, and clinician John Fedchock says, "Trumpeter John Lake presents a striking album introducing his multi-talents as composer, arranger and soloist. The outstanding program of unique originals and transformed classics showcases a dynamic band with first-rate soloists sharing a conceptual vision, giving a remarkably seasoned sound to this fresh new project."
John enlisted a first-rate band of up-and-coming New York instrumentalists, including saxophonists Paul Jones and Michael Thomas, pianist Steven Feifke, bassist Marcos Varela, and drummer Jeff Davis.
